Christianity was just a public face for Nazis. From the early years, leading Nazis openly attacked Christianity. Joseph Goebbels declared that "Christianity has infused our erotic attitudes with dishonesty." Hitler tried to heal Germany from Christianity, "one of the great scourges of history", and for that Nazis had to break Christianity from inside, dismantling its evil dogmas one by one. That is why Nazis have chosen Sun as their main symbol, admired Nietzsche (pagan philosopher) and Wagner (pagan composer). Nazis also were quick to ally with Japan - another pagan country having Sun on its flag.
From the start of the Nazi movement, "the destruction of Christianity was explicitly recognized as a purpose of the National Socialist movement," said Baldur von Schirach, leader of the group that would come to be known as Hitler-Jugend. Nazis created Positive Christianity, which rejected Jewish-written parts of the Bible, including the entire Old Testament. Basically they completely removed Jewish God from the Bible. In 1937, Goebbels launched a fierce campaign against the Catholic Church, attempting to convince the public that the priesthood was filled with child sex abusers.
The schools were heavily targeted in order to de-Christianize the young. Mandatory prayer in schools was stopped in 1935, and from 1941 onward, religious instruction was completely eliminated for all students over 14 years old. The Nazi Teachers Association actively discouraged its members from taking religious instruction, while at the same time many teachers of religious studies (who were all required to be licensed by the state) "inculcated neo-paganism into their pupils during periods of religious instruction." Later, teachers were outright prohibited from attending voluntary religion classes organized by the Catholic church.
So Nazis were totally pagan, using Christianity only as a public cover, because brainwashed Germans would have refused to accept the truth that they are slaves to Judaism.
