All this lockdown paranoia is unfounded. Look at what has happened to every console, every phone, everything worth cracking... they all run linux. Every DRM, every software, everything is crackable and everything gets cracked. Half of Russia, Asia and South America can't even buy legit copies, they only have access to pirated versions.

A couple of american engineers aren't going to stop anyone (though they can be dicks about it and slow everything down).
