why can't I legally be given marijuana to treat my anxiety and panic

notice how the recent thread I made when I was high as balls was really upbeat and silly... weed temporarily rids me of my panic and anxiety, xanax doesn't do all that much help

the threads I make when I'm sober often sound paranoid or crazy, but weed calms me down more than benzos or antipsychotics or anything else for that matter

I've been keeping up my antics since telnet BBSes and Usenet, and now I've broadened my horizons to include web-based textboards as well.
