Can we get a discussion going about PHP frameworks. From your experience which one do you think is better.

The user base of CodeIgniter is largely ignorant programmers and front-end developers. It's worse than RoR and NodeJS. The code quality is horrendous. People recommend CodeIgniter because it's their first framework and it's all they know and they don't know better. It's a virus in the PHP community. Please quarantine yourself by using Silex or Symfony2.
