PHP - CodeIgniter vs CakePhp vs etc

Can we get a discussion going about PHP frameworks. From your experience which one do you think is better.

I don't use any PHP framework, because frankly, PHP is shit enough just by itself. I don't want any extra slowness or bloat. If you lurked any thread on /prog/ regarding PHP¹ you'll see more hate and insults than any compliments for the language.
