dammit

Why do so many anime characters have to smoke? I'm marathoning anime right now to forget about smoking in an attempt to make quitting easier, but so fucking many anime characters smoke. And almost everyone at my college smokes too. Additionally, the local tobacconist has had a recent sale on my favorite brand of cigarettes. It's as if the world doesn't want me to quit smoking.

I don't even know if I really want to quit. I absolutely love smoking, I just don't want lung cancer, so that's why I'm quitting. But is it really worth it? Is dying an early death due to cancer really all that bad?

I highly doubt smoking all your life makes up for dying early and painfully. Just quit.
