We all know it is awkward, horrible, senseless, bloated and slow as fuck.
But why are there still so much market for it? What are the supposed advantages of using VB in commercial programming?
I'd understand to see VB jobs ten years ago, when C# was still infant, but now it's a slow-but-powerful language, and at least a little readable. You can work with it. So there's no bonus in using VB for the .NET Framework stuff.
Of course software maintenance is important, but it should be already time to at least rewrite VB stuff in C#...
