What is your point? I guess you're not aware that assembly language programming is tied to the operating system you are running?

No. It isnt. It's tied to hardware, and OS hides most of real hardware details, like a bootstrap sequence, MMU or time-sharing.

Nope. Read the book I recommended. The instruction set is hardware dependent, assembly programming is operating system dependent (e.g., making kernel calls).
