You can't compress one byte to zero. That's the limit of infinite compression.

Actually the limit can be considered as
func(x) removing one byte if the size of bytestream is more then precision of first removed byte.
i.e. there will be a hard limit since the func(filesize) diverges(filesize is parameter for a reconstruction of first byte) to multiple files which would have the same filesize but different initial bytes.
