Programming Music [PART MMXI]

Name: Anonymous 2011-11-07 23:17

A denizen of /prague/ once introduced me to Love Solfège a while back in a previous programming music thread, in addition to Kokia and Sound Horizon. I think he must have been from /jp/. I recently noticed that they released a new compilation, and listening to it while programming in Clojure has allowed me to reach a new level of appreciation for the elegance of the language.

When I have my Thinkpad in front of me, a glass of wine, and freshly brewed gourmet tea; when I listen to that song, I transcend my mortal form to become the magical little girl capable of unbounded computation.

What have you been listening to, /prague/?

I listen to superior EXPERT programming music produced by my Lisp coded synthesizer plug-in for Fruity Loops Studio 10 (EXPERT Programmer Edition.) Additionally my music is based on scientific research in music and emotion: it takes advantage of rhythmic entrainment, advances in cognitive psychology, and the premise behind binaural beats to propel me to new heights of computation. In such a state I am almost capable of reading SIC however if I were to take glorious enterprise grade methamphetamine I may be able to finish the book.
