Obligatory Linux sucks thread

Hiding filenames begining with "." or "~" considered insecure.

If Bob, having a folder full of child porn, then moves it somewhere else, he has false sense of security, because law enforcement will easily find ".thumbnails" folder.

Same for Alice, who accidently deletes system files, thinking that folder is empty.

Why should Linux die if you can't use it. Can't use it, go back to Windows or Crap-le.
C/C++ is crap. Sooner or later it'll die, like it's author, taking linux/windows/crapple and other unices with it, becase linux is just a big runtime environment for C/C++.

There'll be only one true language -- Lisp.
