What's the point of having a programming imageboard? Do you really need images to talk about programming? That's fucking retarded. It would be filled with ,,kewl cat image reaction makros xD'', and zero actual discussion. /prog/, as a textboard, is just perfect.
/prog/ had a good post rate (slow enough to let you actually think about what you're posting, fast enough to not be ~~Ruby~~4-ch), which got ruined by the recent influx of spammers, redditors and /g/tards.
If we get new mods or janitors, they would be as retarded as the /g/tards.
