I am stuck between an internship at a big 4 accounting firm and a large investment firm.

In the accounting firm, I would be pursuing a Information System Auditor. In the other, a Software Developer position.

Can anyone give insight into the two? I've never heard of an I.S. Auditor until now, but I feel like I have no choice but to jump into it if I do not get the software development role.

It seems like B.S., theres no programming from what I read and they want you to eventually attain whats called a CISA certificate...

Interesting, but I see the Jews pay more for programmers than they do Auditors, so i dont know why programming positions get a bad w here.

I saw a state gov't ad offering starting salary I.S. Auditor job for like 47k....for people with at least 4yrs experience!

Starting salary for programmers is around there, and seem significantly higher.
