Why is CS so male dominated?

Why do you think CS is so male dominated? My friend said it was because of the male programmers that are basement dwellers and smell bad.

Now consider such a woman to be in a class of sexually frustrated of (supposedly) intellectual and (supposedly) socially stunted young men and that woman would have to have the thickest skin and the most emotionally strong mind to survive such an ordeal.
