Scala and Traits

Hi dear fags:

In my company we are going to start a proyect where roles or mixins would prove useful.

I know that perl6 and ruby had them, but most programmers here are java monkeys.

Has any of you had any experience using Scala Traits? Or Scala at all? I don't know any java, i'm just reading introductory material about Scala now.

All I know right now is that I DON'T WANT TO USE JAVA EVER.

Hm, I didn't know about Scala.

I want to write some small games in Java using one of the many publically available game engines written in that language. Can I use Scala and Clojure with a Java library like that seamlessly,  without conflict?
