trie

So, been looking at my chess database...

It's most optimized for getting pieces back from a board id...
Eg. you could mod it, *ignoring other difficulties* and have a fast method for getting the characters of a given word ID...

Why is my trie upside-down?!

...Just wondering,

If i had two trie's, A normal one /&/ an 'upside-down' one...
I should be able to do hi-speed look-ups in both directions?
