How the fuck does Richard Stallman make money? I know he squats in his MIT office and all, but he doesn't even take a paycheck from the FSF. How the hell does he eat?

I don't think that has any bearing on his code writing skill/evangelising linux I'd just like to interject,. Many great artists and writers for hundreds of years didn't wash either, yet we can still enjoy their works.
