So I'm taking a year-long sabbatical away from my position as a senior software developer, I get one every 8 years or so. I've told my coworkers that I'm planning on doing some traveling and focusing on some personal programming projects, but that couldn't be further from the truth. For a solid year straight, starting at the beginning of next month, I'll be playing Deus Ex: HR, Rage, Battlefield 3, Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls V and anything else I fancy. I'm even planning on taking a lead role in the BF clan I've been a member of for a while.
Just thinking about it, I can't wait until this month is over.
