Learning Scheme / SCIP

So I want to read SICP and learn functional programming. I decided to start with Scheme.
Which implementation should I use for starting to learn Scheme? It has to run on Windows but it doesn't need to be integratable in a IDE.

Ive been trying to learn functional languages for a long time, and Im just now starting to realize Im not going to get any practical use out of these languages till Im proficient in linear algebra level of mathematics as well as algorithm and data structures.
