I'm looking at this from both a usability perspective and a marketing perspective.

I actually like Javascript a lot and want to see it take off as a mainstream general purpose language. But the fact the people at google are dropping the ball with Antroid in vain hopes they can make a webOS is proof that billion dollar corporations cant seem to make common sense decisions
