Would you suggest to someone to learn it?
Pros and cons?

If you go to reddit programming:
http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/
you'll see a thread about John Carmack's QuakeCon speech. If you click the comments button and scroll down half way:
http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/jar93/john_carmack_gives_his_thoughts_on_static/
you'll see Walter Bright trying to sell people on the idea that if they used D, they would not have to rely on Static Checking as was mentioned by Carmack
point being, their are better alternatives to C/C++ for writing productive code

fine, here's your permalink:
http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/jar93/john_carmack_gives_his_thoughts_on_static/c2al599
thought it would be more interesting for people to find his comments on their own

Actually going to reddit you're only going to see misplaced and nonsense text.
I can't believe someone can actually read in this shitty site.
Gotta be among the worse layouts ever. I'd rather read something in those animated-gif backgrounded Geocities pages.
