Does randomness exist?

Name: Anonymous 2011-08-06 14:06

We may perceive some highly chaotic systems (coin flips, atmospheric parameters) as random. For all intents and purposes, they are random because it's infeasible to create a computer that would determine the output of an event based on the current parameters (millions of them). What determines ''randomness`` at the lowest, quantum level? Discuss.
