The issue is why the fuck does this matter?
It's a foundational and political issue. Schools/colleges say: either you accept Set Theory or you wont get a diploma, meaning you wont get a job. Basically, Set Theory is a language, which bacame forced in all subjects, including linguistics (a field wanted to work in).
