hey /prog/
im looking for sites like projecteuler.net
i solved few of them(34) but remaining ones are way too hard.
not because programming but because they require so much math and knowlodge.
so im pretty much looking for a site like projecteuler but for programming, not math.
thx

with isnt good i mean isnt that good at math.
seriously after some point they got very hard, and all i do is pretty much googling for theorems founding them and making them into code which have been nothing but do while and if so far.
as i said im looking for more likely fo coding one, project euler is way too much math.

Take a math class. There's a reason that Integral Calculus is a requirement for the CS major at my University (it's probably even higher in other places)

That's like telling someone with a flat tire to study the fine art of driving with flat tires. He wants to avoid the math, not get used to it.

What language are you programming in? There are some language-specific exercise collections. In any case, you could try doing the "100 Lisp Problems" -- they're not at all Lisp-related. Some of them are math-related, but it's not really hard (i.e. calculating primes) and you can generally turn the thing into a "how efficiently can I turn this algorithm into code" thing.

I can't really remember anything other than topcoder.

Anyway, Project Euler is a bit to close to pure mathematics.

I did quite a lot of it and most of them can be done on paper, or by means of a very simplistic Perl script.

I requires mathematics knowledge but it is not imperative to use advanced programming methodology.

While I appreciate that your convictions are relevant to you, I'm afraid I can't really follow as I have no particular opinion on the matter. It occurs to me that while I do have opinions on a variety of other topics, discussing them with people is rarely a fruitful exercise. At times people agree, other times they disagree, and often they simply don't find them relevant to their personal lives. It isn't that anyone's opinion is more or less valuable than anyone else's; just not as relevant to one individual as it is to another.
