Is anyone on /prog/ a game programmer?

I'm going to be a sophomore in college this fall, and I was wondering how hard it is to get into the game industry. I have some experience programming 2d games, but I haven't done any big projects or any 3d games (you can play one of the games i made here:

for windows http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XFL309A3
for macs http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SSMGPTT4)

And, I have some knowledge of C++ and Java (I know, i'm a noob).

Anyways, is there anything I should do to improve my chances into getting the gaming industry (e.g. learning new languages, read books, etc) when I graduate college?

If you're a retard, who loves to suck C++ and Java cocks, then it shouldn't be that hard.

Python is ugly and slow. That's why google loves it together with Java and C++.
