weird openGL error

    hey are there some programfags here?
    some of you are familiar with openGL nd directX ?
    i was trying to launch an old game through wine and it returned a strange openGL error :

    err:d3d7:IDirect3DImpl_7_CreateDevice The application wants to create a Direct3D device, but non-opengl surfaces are set in the registry. Please set the surface implementation to opengl or autodetection to allow 3D rendering
    err:d3d:wined3d_unregister_window Window 0x30076 is not registered with wined3d.

    someone knows what " non-opengl surfaces are set in the registry" means?
    google can't into openGL....

Nothing really prevents you from helping him (and you did, by redirecting him to winehq), since he didn't just say ``i hav dis code pls halp'', and actually googled it before posting it here, disregarding his heavily 4chan-ish accent. It's not like we have mods that care about us or something, and it's also better than the spam.
