Everything can be reduced to 2 instincts:reproduction and survival
Example: Desire to write an OS ->
1.Desire to create superior software
2.Desire for fame and increased social status
3.Social status influences survival
4.Fame influences reproduction

Breathing is reflexive, non-conscious activity. We breathe because its a reflex to consume oxygen, in a automatic loop.
You can't break the loop you can only alter its variables(rate, speed, volume) and the process continues infinitely
