Yes, I’m currently a Product Manager for TypePad, Six Apart’s hosted blogging platform.
Python or Ruby?
Python, but Ruby is a close second.
What OSs do you prefer?
Mac OSX and iPhone OS. I like Unix OSs for servers, but I’m not at all picky.
Favorite: Languages JS Framework?
Language: Python and JavaScript
JS framework: JQuery
What does your typical day look like?
I get up and eat breakfast, then take the Muni to work. I have a few meetings, organize bug tracking tickets and maybe get a chance to code a little bit. Then I go home and either go out with friends, hack on a new project, or stay at home and watch movies.
What are the tools you couldn't live without?
My laptop and my iPhone
>The things or source that inspired and motivate you?
I’m inspired by beautiful web applications such as Flickr and Facebook and by amazing open source projects (and open source developers). I’m motivated by the people who use my code and the apps I’ve made. It’s so cool when people, besides myself, find my projects useful.
What's do you prefer, the freelance work of the full time employee?
I actually prefer working on start-ups which can be a bit of both.
What do you do in your free time?
I love it when I have some free time to read a book. I like fantasy books a lot. I also love to go out with friends and try new restaurants and bars.
Current favorite apps?
Colloquy, Coda, and Quicksilver on the Mac. GMail, TypePad, Twitter, GitHub, and Plancast on the web. Yelp and Foursquare on the iPhone.
Your personal projects and goals for 2010?
I’d like to be more involved with OAuth and OEmbed and maybe release Baconfile, my file-hosting app, as open source. I’d also like to start a big new website, but we’ll see how that goes.
