I'm happy to inform you that I haven't been fapping or farting.
I've been playing around with nVidia's OpenCL demos in their GPU compute SDK, modifying the source, learning how to write OpenCL compute kernels. I'm going to try to write a simple ray-tracer or ray-caster in OpenCL + OpenGL this weekend.

I've also been using Kubuntu for around 6 hours and I'm starting to not like it so much. KDE 4.6 still seems like a buggy piece of poo, different parts of it crash spontaneously, I can see redrawing all over the fucking place, it makes my GPU run 15C hotter than Gnome 3, and there's a noticeable delay when clicking on things and waiting for things to pop up.
So I'm going to give LXDE + Compiz + Emerald a try. Hopefully it's better.
