And obviously I knew about TCO -- otherwise I wouldn't have to increase the stack size every fucking time when I write recursive algorithms. Python is a great language, but Guido should seriously be taken outside and shot. But hey, it's the closest I've got to an actually usable language. The same argument can be made about Linux and western democracy. They are bad, but all the alternatives are worse.
