c# buttons

new to c # and its visual studio 2010 gui, just switched from java making only command line based programs but i was wondering if you could help a guy out, im trying to send a value from a button click event to change a value of a given integer in my main method, thanks in advance

You don't even have a "main" method, also GUI stuff is done asynchronously.
