Learning C

Hello /prog/. I am a newbie programmer (not even sure I am worth of the title) who only knows Java at a decent level and a bit of assembly from highschool. I wish to learn C. Which book should I use?

Old, archaic, and insecure languages such as C have no place in this century.

Do yourself a favor and learn C#.
