I know this is not the place to ask as the board is not big on windows. But Ive noticed there are some windows programs that dont require installation. Im wondering what the installation process actually does. I know it makes entrys in the registry, and I think it also extracts binaries from compressed files. Is that why the installation process takes so long, that its just compressing files?
