People calling men who like spring keys neckbeards should stop doing so. I will explain why. Membrane keys feel sticky at first and become harder to press after you wash the keyboard. You do clean it, right? The only other alternative is to throw out your membrane keyboard after it gets dirty and buy a new one. Scissor switch keyboards are nice but uncleanable by design.
Spring key keyboards provide ability to being cleaned easily, good and uniform tactile response that doesn't change over years (or even months), and the annoying clack sound is a nice bonus.
