/prog/ rebels gained access to the source code somewhere in the early 21st century and started reproducing the powerful functionalities into their own project, but eventually had to go into hiding when US secret agents started killing them one by one to preserve their government's power.
I have previously traveled to 1975 and obtained an IBM 5100. It would be best if I could get the original Anonix tapes, but I'll make do with your era's floppies or whatever I can find. The stakes are high enough.
