So i was looking at Tarn Adams(DF maker) source code for his other games and I've come to the conclusion that he writes C-style code while using CPP. What a ``faggot'', it's not hard to see why his games suck so much considering he is basically writing in C.

>implying writing a game in C is a good idea
>implying any large project in C is a good idea when modern OO languages are available
>thinks he knows anything about programming
Though to be fair to Tarn OP, he taught himself everything.

>He makes the language at fault for a dumb programmer(probably himself) who can't do stuff logically

>implying C is good for anything other than systems programming
>implying managing a large C codebase is trivial and productive
>implying trawling through header files is a good idea
>implying small games done in C and ASM back in the 80s/90s are comparable to the gargantuan games of today
>implying small games of the 80s/90s weren't small precisely because they were done in C or ASM
>implying codebases of 1,000,000+ lines of code and hundreds of not thousands of classes should have been done in C
Really, unless you have worked on a project that consists of more than 50 source files get the fuck out.
