a student said to a master /prog/rider: "how can you like something that's so horribly broken?"
the master looked at a broken laptop computer sitting nearby, and stood silent.
"it's impossible for anything good to come out of it," said the student.
the master replied:
"do you see that laptop? what can you tell me about it?"
"why, it's broken, and mostly useless."
"yes. and what if all the laptops in the world were broken? would you say it's useless in comparison to the others?"
"I guess I wouldn't," said the student, "it'd be just as good as the others."
the master noted:
"in bbcode, everything is broken."
upon hearing this, the student was enlightened.
