Changing IMEI Numbers

I am looking for some information regarding changing IMEI numbers on blocked phones.

Any information would be good, but blackberrys & iphones specifically, don't mention ZIPhone.

Or you could do the ethical thing and turn it over to the police or lost-and-found, so the actual owner can get his toy back.
