Terminal Usage

Hey I'm new to linux, when I'm using the terminal and I press up it gives me the last thing I typed which is nice but is there any combination of keys I can press just to delete the whole line at once after I've typed a bunch of crap or do I just have to hold the delete key and wait for it to delete all the characters?

Just compress your kernel in .png format. This will fix the problem.
