Why still shitchan?

Hello, I'm Anonymous, and I'm back from having left some years ago. I see /prog is still using Shiichan and realize about any text board out there is better than this broken piece of shit; why are we still using this? Also, why aren't ancient threads threadstopped so some faggot won't bump them?

Waha's Kareha, for example, looked more solid. And of course one could easily implement this (at least to this feature level) on the FIOC with any database.
