PDF

I want to program a pdf reader all by my own. I'm not allowed to use ready-made classes/libs whatever.

Problem is I can't find anything about the Portable Document Format for programmers.

Perhaps have a look at xPDF source code.

All I found online was the Adobe Reader PDF reference (is that it?) which isn't free ;_;
