difference between Guile and MIT Scheme?

I know both are implementations of scheme, but are they close enough to run all the stuff from SICP in Guile?  I have Slackware, so compiling from source isn't an issue, but I just want to avoid random wasn't-written-for-this-interpreter errors.

Write your own interpreter. It's a good introduction to SICP.
