Any /prog/rammers know anything about satellite receiver programming?

I don't know were to being and the usual sat forum is of no help what so ever.

BTW doing this for the lulz. I don't even watch TV any more.

I was talking with someone yesterday who mentioned something about well off people having somewhat free (1 time fee) Internet access through satellite which revamped my desire to know more. So I still welcome any useful information!
