In 2030 computers will be no larger than a coin, able to stay powered for 10 weeks from a day worth of sunlight, and will have tremendous computing power we can barely imagine.

The most popular programming language will be Javascript, and starting an average rich text editor will still take about 10 seconds, because we will add multiple layers of abstractions between the server and the browser - as many of them as users are willing to put up with in terms of waiting.
