I have do user inputted curves. They are visually similar? I need to compare them for their similarity?

Can anyone link me to some tutorial/methodologies on how to do this in OOp?

My only idea was to extract a formula for both curves an then play a bit with mathematics?

Any more info on this? I didn't yet reach that level of mathematics sadly!
