Oh god. Richard Wallace is in that. Apparently this is the same Richard no longer suffering from mental problems Wallace who created ALICE and (as has been mentioned in another thread) asks us to take her word for it should she claim to be conscious.

(Apparently he also approached Ask.com about enhancing their NLP search engine, and threw a fit on the spot--in the meeting--when he found out they already had something better.)
