Degradation

I've been here X amount of years and i feel that (criterions) apply here when i say that this (post/topic/board/chan) is/has (degraded/dumb/bad/stupid/gay) because of the (faggotry/spam/LISP) so overwhelmingly present (now/today/this month/these past few years)

I remember a day when /prog/ was about responsible threadcraft.  We didn't post here to win an argument, or for the rush of clicking the “Reply” button, or to spam shitty memes in unclever contexts, or to discuss programming.  We did it to create a thing of beauty that everyone could enjoy.  Now nobody puts effort into anything because it would simply get lost in the flood.  We have regressed to /b/.
