Scrollbars in Firefox. Halp?!

Name: Turbo 2010-03-14 18:26

So, my whole internet browsing life I have found it endlessly frustrating that Firefox does not allow the modification of its scroll-bars. I don't care what w3c recommends at all. I just want it. End of story. I'm sure a lot of you feel that way, too! Will someone experienced help us out?

My solution is perfect. If a site wants to change the scrollbar color, add scrolling/flashing marques, have a midi BGM, some nice custom ActiveX controls, what browser other than IE you might want? No FireFox or Opera or other modern browsers can compete with IE there. If your site needs those features, and your users need those features, they WILL get IE or simply not get those features. If you want to make sure they get IE, add a server-side check for the user-agent and simply display a "UPGRADE TO IE4-6 IF YOU WISH TO VIEW THIS SITE" page. If users truly care about your site and your content they will get IE.
