Gobolinux is an experiment of a system that uses an alternative directory hierarchy to the traditional Unix systems. It is not FHS compliant. The traditional Unix hierarchy is provided in the form of symlinks. Almost all software can be compiled then operated without any modification to the code.

This system actually makes package management and system management very easy. While there are Gobolinux tools to help you manage packages, they are completely optional and you can manage your system yourself using basic Unix tools. I like the fact that you can install many variants and versions of the same software and nothing is going to conflict when you follow the Gobolinux standard. Getting rid of a package is the simple matter of removing the package's root directory.

Promoting OS X, not necessarily Macs. Anyone who thinks you need an actual Apple Macintosh to run OS X these days is either a fool or a fanboy.

FUCK YOU GUYS, I'm out
Okay, see ya later!

I am merely very rich. People in your income percentile do not understand the value of convenience.

One needn't be very rich to recognize the value of convenience. One need only have been rich for a short period of time.
