We could post pics of python and C++ logos......

Or we could just post some random shit sitting on our hard drive and end every post with "pic unrelated", which is what usually happens on imageboards.

We had it for a while with /sicp/ but barely anyone posted images. Am I the only one who remembers I-conjure-the-spirits-of-the-beaver-with-my-spells.jpg ?

I can imagine how /prog's image board would be:
The awful wide open anus image with a caption "verb my anus".
Random stupid raids from /b/ with girugamesh, F40PH, boxxy or any other unfunny meme shit.
Trollface.jpg for each IHBT.
EFG trying to do whatever stupidity using a computer.
Spam, spam and more spam.
GET shitstorms.
Every thread will 404. Even some unreplied.
Dicks.
.js images.
Post ending in xx decides which programming language to use for implementing whatever shitty idea.
It's sad how so many pretend to make fun of imageboards while being experts on exactly what is or is not ``imageboard quality''. You're obviously the ones who spend time there, so why not just go back and leave the rest of us alone?
/sicp/ was an image board, and that didn't work out too badly apart from its diminishing user base, but it was more of a text board with images added than 4chan's image boards (which expire threads, require an image to post a thread, don't allow BBCODE, etc.)
apart from its diminishing user base
Before it's death it was down to two, maybe three people.I'm guessing that was me, >>34, and Christopher.
Any /prog/ image board would go the same way.
